Two city outdoor pools

Centennial Park Pool at 15 Rotary Lodge Lane includes a zero-entry wading area, seating, shade and accessible features. East End Pool is at 35 Fergus Street. Both have three lap lanes and free on-site parking on a first-come basis.

Passes are tied to the named pool and cannot transfer between them. The 2026 fees below are not a promise of 2027 prices or opening dates. Splash pads are also closed for the 2026 season.

Supervision by age and swim ability

Ages 0-5 need a guardian over 16 in the water within arm’s reach, at most two children per guardian, and cannot enter the deep end. Ages 6-11 without a passed test stay shallow and within arm’s reach, at most four per guardian.

Ages 6-11 who pass can access all pool areas, with the guardian remaining on premises and maintaining direct supervision. Lifeguards can still restrict anyone’s access for safety, even after a passed test.

Payment, rules and closure

Pools take debit/credit, not cash. YMCA locations sell passes with cash accepted;the page conflicts on June 1 versus June 16 presales, so no single start date is presented as verified.

No diving, glass, photography, inflatables or nose-covering swim masks. Staff-approved lifejackets/PFDs differ from toys. Food/drinks may be brought but not into the water. Thunder-related evacuation does not generate refunds.
